Four hours left until this little test run is over, and so far the results are encouraging. Seems like some of you are interested in seeing more.

The good news about this is that, if I write the book over the next month and a half, then, on the site, I can move on to more advanced topics.  Because, as I said, my main focus now is to help get people over the hump of being trapped in a “survival” mindset. This is the thing that keeps most writers from really making a successful go of it.

But that is only the first step. Once you stop wondering whether or not you CAN make a living, the real success comes when you start putting into play strategies that will enable a transformation from spending all your time finding new business, and instead spend most of your time working on the business that finds its way to your doorstep.

And find its way, it will.

Writing the full Freelance Survival Guide will let me move on and start sharing those strategies and tactics with you. Strategies and tactics that will allow you move beyond the one-off nickel and dime jobs, and into recurring, well-paying work that will be as enjoyable as it is profitable.

But it’s hard to get there unless you get sense of security in what you can accomplish as a freelancer, and first start to achieve a sustainable level of those  one-off jobs.

The principles outlined in “Water” are the first step in attaining that initial, sustainable success; the full-length book would give you the rest of what you’d need to make that happen. But time is running out, so if you think you might be interested in such a book, you have under four hours to let me know.
